Leading Westchester Law Firm Expands Adding Six Attorneys from a Prominent Firm

WHITE PLAINS, NY (January 2020) — DelBello Donnellan Weingarten Wise & Wiederkehr, LLP (DDWWW), a leading Westchester general practice law firm, has expanded with the addition of six partners and associates from Collier Halpern & Newberg, LLP (CHN) following managing partner Philip Halpern’s nomination to be a federal district court judge in the Southern District of New York.

David A. Newberg,a graduate of Princeton University and Columbia Law School, has extensive experience in corporate and commercial matters, intellectual property, real estate development and financing, mergers and acquisitions, including advice and representation in the financing and securities areas, both public and private, private equity and counseling of both small and large enterprises. He is a resident of Westport, CT.

Harry J. Nicolay has specialized in commercial litigation for over 25 years. Admitted in both New York and New Jersey, Mr. Nicolay has developed an extensive knowledge in a broad range of commercial litigation areas, including contract law, debtor/creditor rights, fraudulent conveyances and construction law.  He is a graduate of Villanova University and Pepperdine Law School. He is a resident of Greenwich, CT.

Scott M. Salant has practiced in the area of commercial litigation since 1989. He is admitted in both New York and Massachusetts and has developed experience in a wide range of commercial litigation areas including contract law, securities litigation and arbitration, real estate law, employment law, and corporate dissolution.  He is a graduate of the University of Chicago and Boston University Law School.  He is a resident of New Canaan, CT.

Shari B. Hochberg has practiced in the area of commercial litigation since 2012. She is admitted to both New York and the New Jersey bars. She was Editor-in-Chief of the Pace International Law Review.  She is a graduate of American University and Pace Law School.  She is a resident of White Plains, NY.

Lorenzo Venditti was admitted to the Italy Bar in 2013 and the New York Bar in 2018.  He practices in the areas of Litigation & Appeals, Alternate Dispute Resolution, Contracts, Probate & Estate Administration and International Law.  He is fluent in English and Italian.  He is a graduate of the University of Rome and Harvard Law School.  He is a resident of New York City.

Of Counsel Hon. Peter P. Rosato served as a Justice of the New York State Supreme Court, Westchester County, 9th Judicial District from 1988 to 2009.  He is a resident of Yonkers.
